Honestly, Star Wars reached a very tragic point in its history when Disney bought the franchise and started exploiting it senselessly, making a complete mess of the story, the narrative, the characters, and the entire universe in general
At this point, it seemed like the franchise was going to be a disaster forever, as the Solo: A Star Wars Story movie also fell short and the only thing that saved the franchise was two other projects: Rogue One and The Mandalorian.
Almost like a miracle, The Mandalorian managed to revive people’s interest in the franchise and with it, we got to see Luke Skywalker again, who took Grogu into his care to finish his Jedi training.
We now know that Ahsoka Tano will have her own series, and it appears as though, a deleted scene from The Mandalorian will be the one to give way to the new series. In the clip, she speaks to Anakin Skywalker’s force ghost, who asks her not train Grogu, that it should be another Jedi master: Luke.
Anakin himself mentions that she has managed to produce great changes and needs to continue down this path, so it is believed, that she will be in charge of preventing Palpatine from returning to life, thus preventing Kylo Ren from existing. And it all officially commenced, thanks to Luke meeting with Grogu.
This was reported by an insider who disclosed this in Pirates & Princesses, where it is was also said, that the writers of the Disney trilogy were not informed about the arrival of Luke at the end of The Mandalorian, therefore, this literally changes everything.
Interestingly, this might lead to creating a new trilogy, where all the series which are about to be introduced for Star Wars, will come together in a glorious cataclysmic event.
