Over the years, the two John Wicks and Punisher have become quite the heroes, thanks to the movies, the Netflix series and the Marvel comics. In essence, if they went against each other, we’d probably see the most intense action scenes that a movie can offer.
Keanu Reeves was the star of three movies of John Wick (2014, 2017, 2019), which received positive criticism and gained public favor. The Punisher has continued to appear in Marvel comics since its inception in the 1970s. It has also been the center of attention in several movies and TV shows. Dolph Lundgren, Thomas Jane and Ray Stevenson played Punisher in the movies, while Jon Bernthal assumed the role of The Punisher on the Netflix streaming platform.
Frank Castle and John Wick may appear in different franchises, but the characters share many similarities. The two are known as killing machines fueled by the murder of a loved one. In the case of Castle, the death of his wife and two children, and for John Wick, the death of his dog which his wife gave him after her death. They both have a vast arsenal of weapons to fight their opponents with, which they often shoot down in brutal combat sequences. The two characters are undoubtedly expert assassins, but fans have often wondered who would win in a fight: John Wick or Frank Castle?
