Actor Chris Pratt, who plays Star-Lord in the Marvel Studios films, married Katherine Schwarzenegger, who is the daughter of the ex-politician and actor Arnold Schwarzenegger.
The couple after seven months of romance celebrated their wedding on Saturday, June 8, in a strictly private ceremony held in Montecito, California.
In addition, Arnold Schwarzenegger himself, among the guests were the director James Gunn, who was in charge of “Guardians of the Galaxy” 1 and 2. Also attending was the actor Rob Lowe, a close friend of Chriss Pratt.
After the wedding, the actor posted an emotional message on his Instagram account accompanied by photographs on the exclusive San Ysidro ranch.
“Yesterday was the best day of our lives! We became husband and wife in front of God, our families and those we love. It was intimate, moving and emotional. We feel so blessed to begin this new chapter of our lives,” he wrote.
Chriss Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger were engaged five months ago. “Sweet Katherine, how happy you said yes, I’m thrilled to marry you,” the actor said in January.
As we all know, the protagonist from “Guardians of the Galaxy” began his romance with the daughter of Arnold Schwarzenegger after his divorce with the actress Anna Faris, with whom he has a 6-year-old son.
