Warner Bros. Pictures is now ready to start the campaign for one of its great projects of 2019 and today released the first images of ‘Godzilla: King of the Monsters’, the third film in its universe of monsters.

The film is directed by Michael Dougherty , who in an interview for Entertainment Weekly magazine gave a preview of the atmosphere that will be felt in this new film:“The world is reacting to Godzilla in the same way we would react to any other terrifying incident, in that we are overreacting,”he explained. “but there’s paranoia and endless speculation about whether he is the only one out there or whether we’re threatened by others like his kind.”

History will place us in the heroic efforts of the crypto-zoology agency Monarch (same that appeared in Kong: The Skull Island ) and its members, who will face great monsters like Godzilla himself, who will collide with Mothra , Rodan and his Great enemy King Ghidorah .

The film will be part of the universe of monsters created by Legendary Pictures and saw its start with Godzilla 2014 and continued with Kong: The Skull Island of 2017.

The film will see the return of Ken Watanabe and Sally Hawkins, who will be joined by Vera Farmiga, Kyle Chandler, Millie Bobby Brown, Bradley Whitford, Thomas Middleditch, Charles Dance, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Aisha Hinds and Zhang Ziyi. It is anticipated that it will reach the cinemas on May 31, 2019 .
