Ryan Reynolds is known for being Marvel’s Deadpool in theaters. But before that, he tried to infiltrate DC comics.
The actor portrayed Green Lantern in the 2011 film, which was highly criticized. Because of this, Ryan Reynolds himself likes to make jokes about the time he wore the Lanter ring in the DC feature.
In his Instagram story, Ryan Reynolds joked again that he is Green Lantern and this time, to fight the Coronavirus (COVID-19).
With an image of himself as Green Lantern, Ryan Reynolds rewrote the Lantern’s Oath to include the Coronavirus. He kind of messed it up but the message also served as a reminder of St. Patrick’s Day.
Ryan Reynolds, in theaters, will not be the Green Lantern again, as far as we know. He will continue to portray Deadpool in an upcoming installment for Disney.
Deadpool 3, with Marvel production, still has no premiere date.
