This year, 2021, has already revealed plenty of bombshell news for all of the fans: the return of Chris Evans as Captain America to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

As an exclusive to Deadline, it was revealed that there are negotiations between Chris and Marvel to bring the actor back in other films, and not a solo project, like Captain America 4, for example.

This will be an agreement similar to that of Robert Downey Jr, who negotiated for Captain America: Civil War and Spider-Man: Far from Home.

Another detail revealed by the website was that the new contract arranged may bring about two films. However, the journalist Daniel Richtman, indicated that the new agreement might yield three films.

In the first project, he will make an appearance in a different reality as CAPTAIN HYDRA, the evil version of the character. This should probably occur in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

In his second collaboration, the actor will once again portray the real Captain, fighting alongside Wolverine. It is not known in which film exactly this will take place, but a meeting between Captain America and Wolverine in World War II is something that fans have always wanted.

At the height of WandaVision’s debut, the report was revealed stating that Chris Evans was negotiating to return on a future Marvel Studios project.

And obviously, the news made fans go wild with excitement. The actor’s name quickly went viral and reached Twitter’s trending topics.

While fans speculate about his return, the actor himself reacted to the news. With a slight depravity, the actor just wrote, “News to me,” with a shrug emoji.

It seems like he doesn’t know what’s going on, or, as they sometimes do, the actor is simply playing the opposition. Remember when Tatiana Maslany swore that she would NOT be She-Hulk? Well, she is, now we just have to wait and see when Chris will own up to the news.
