A video made in Dudhwa National Park in India shows a Burmese python, the largest on the planet, swallowing its enormous prey: an axis deer.
Nature never ceases to amaze us. This time, it was a huge Burmese python from Dudhwa National Park in India, which devoured an entire axis deer. The video showing the reptile swallowing its prey was posted on the Twitter account of Parveen Kaswan, Indian Forest Service officer.
The Burmese python, whose habitat is mainly found in the jungles of Southeast Asia, is one of the largest snakes in the world. According to National Geographic, this species can reach up to 7 meters (22 feet) long for 90 kilograms (198 Lbs). This reptile is particularly known for its ability to swallow large prey.
