Netflix’s new movie, “Project Power,” revolves around a mysterious substance that appears on the streets of New Orleans, allowing anyone who consumes it to gain a random superpower for five minutes, which leads to all sorts of chaos.
In the plot, Jamie Foxx plays Art, a former soldier who attempts to track down the individuals who created the substance. Joining him on this mission are police officer Frank played by Joseph Gordon-Levitt and a teenage dealer named Robin, Dominique Fishback. Apparently, the three will risk consuming the substance to be able to stop the source of the drug.
In addition to Foxx, Gordon-Levitt and Fishback, the film’s cast consists of rapper Machine Gun Kelly, Courtney B. Vance and Rodrigo Santoro. Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman have directed other the films, such as Paranormal Activity 3 and 4.
