It had previously been revealed that Anakin Skywalker would participate in the ‘Obi-Wan’ series, however, it was believed that his appearance would only transpire in the form of a cameo, through a flashback or during a nightmare from Kenobi, however, it has been revealed that he will have a leading role in the series.

Because Obi-Wan is one of the most beloved Jedi by fans of ‘Star Wars’, Disney decided to give him his own television series. Nonetheless, producers we’re not convinced and ordered a restructuring of the show. Clearly, this might have been the reason why it was decided to include Anakin Skywalker in the story.

LucasArts

A few weeks ago, it was revealed that Hayden Christensen would return to play Anakin Skywalker in the series, but now a new report indicates that his role will be more relevant than expected, hence, his character will not only appear in a cameo, but will have a leading role in the program.

According to the site, LRM Online, Hayden Christensen has already signed a contract to become a regular character in the ‘Obi-Wan’ series, which means that he will no longer just have a minor role. The site reports that the Production is preparing a considerable role for him, do to the fact, we will probably see him in several chapters.

Lucasfilm allegedly wanted to make the news known during the Star Wars Celebration, but it was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic. The studio decided to postpone the announcement, since they will not be present at this year’s Comic-Con either. This promising news might be exactly what fans needed, to see the antagonist back in a new production for the Star Wars Universe is always exciting to hear.

This is how we might get Anakin Skywalker in the ‘Obi-Wan’ series, however, the way he will return is still a mystery, since the series takes place between episodes III and IV, when Anakin is supposed to already become Darth Vader.
