A photograph of the Loch Ness shared on social networks is apparently the newest sighting of the dreaded monster that lives in its mysterious waters.

However, skeptics do not accept that the image of this monster is genuine because in the photographs you can see the back of an animal in the water, and the image was taken from too far away to know if it is scaly or not. And if it is a fish, it’s freaking huge.

Netziens quickly reopened the debate about the existence of this unique aquatic creature that apparently still lives and swims inside what is probably the most popular lake in all of Scotland and the rest of the world.

The man who took the photo goes by the name Steve Challice, originally from Southampton, and told local media that he took the photo last September but recently posted it on Facebook without expecting the image to go viral.

In the post the man asked for help identifying the animal and said that he began taking photos and then the “big fish” suddenly surfaced and then went back down into the depths of the water.

According to what this man related, at first he thought it was a catfish and estimated that the creature was 30 feet long and approximately 8 feet in width. However, users on social networks specified that what was revealed in the photo, is Nessie swimming near Urquhart castle.

Steve Challice said “I have to say I don’t believe in the Loch Ness Monster.” However, he honestly thinks that there is something in the depths of the lake, and that there is a logical explanation for most of these sightings.
