Believe it or not, Netflix is asking the American public not to imitate one of their films.

The company’s Twitter account posted a message asking people not to participate in the #BirdBoxChallenge, a challenge in which people are blindfolded on the street like Sandra Bullock’s character in the latest streaming success.

Netflix celebrated the achievement of the film, but warned users that this practice could cause accidents.

“Can’t believe I have to say this, but: PLEASE DO NOT HURT YOURSELVES WITH THIS BIRD BOX CHALLENGE. We don’t know how this started, and we appreciate the love, but Boy and Girl have just one wish for 2019 and it is that you not end up in the hospital due to memes.” says the tweet in the official account of Netflix in the United States.
