The red planet has giving us some recent surprises since NASA’s Mars Perseverance rover, unexpectedly captured something out of the ordinary in low resolution. The image was caught using its left navigation camera which is integrated into the rover (Navcam) on 03/01/2021.
The bizarre object is not a dust particle on the camera lens, considering 4 pictures were taken at the same time revealing that the object only materializes in the third photo. Was there something actually flying in the Martian sky?
There is a lot at stake in this mission, the Perseverance rover is the largest astrobiology expedition ever launched by NASA. The most significant portion of the mission, it will set up the very first roundtrip from another planet.
Surprising anomalies photographed on Mars and on the Moon are not new. Several of these have been sent back to Earth which NASA examines, and identifies what was actually captured in the image.
So far, NASA has not commented on this weird sighting, and of course, many people have suggested these are alien in nature.
