Michael B. Jordan has already played a comic book character, but for some fans, he is the favorite choice to play Krypton’s last son.
In an interview, Michael B Jordan talked about playing Superman, the interviewer described it as something that “could be special.”
This sparked a smile from Jordan and his ‘Just Mercy’ co-star Jamie Foxx, who said “That would be crazy! Son of Jor-El!”
However, Jordan thought a lot about acquiring a role like this, saying that it would have to be done the right way, that he would fully commit himself.
MTV met with Jordan and shared his vision for Superman’s future. However, despite this, Jordan is not inclined to take on the role of playing Superman due to the studio’s lack of devotion to the character.
“But anything that I do dive into has to be done the right way. It has to be full of authenticity. I’m a fan of comic books, you know? I understand, you know, the fans being upset at, ‘Oh no, why are they doing this and why are they changing that?’ I would feel the same way about certain things. So just know, if I ever were to dabble in anything, it would be authentic and something that I feel like people would really support, ” Jordan stated.
The report suggests that part of Jordan’s unwillingness to compromise stems from the fact that there is no script for a new Superman movie and no deputy director, which means the movie probably won’t arrive until after 2023.
