The accomplishment was broadcasted from his Twitch channel and his father congratulated him with an emotional hug that thousands saw live.‌

Simply is a well known Speedrunner who has reached the top 3 in the world ranking of speedruns for Super Mario 64. However, he says that he had been trying to complete this great undertaking for almost 8 years.

Simply’s record is in the 120 star category. This means that in order for your achievement to count, you must collect every star throughout your adventure in Super Mario 64, which means you must have practiced and explored each of the video game locations to avoid wasting valuable time while completing the game.

The world record for Super Mario 64 was held by Liam, a player who managed to complete the video game in 1 hour, 38 minutes and 43 seconds two months ago. However, Simply managed to overcome it by a difference of 15 seconds, finishing the title in 1h, 38m 28s on the same platform.
