Marvel Studios knows that, after the premiere of Avengers: Endgame, will have the difficult task of putting together a new phase of memorable films without the main characters that have given meaning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Yes, the contracts of Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans and Chris Hemsworth end, and the rumors about the death of the characters they play are getting stronger.

But the film studio already has in mind who will give life to the main Avengers, and, in addition to the Young Avengers rumor, for a while they have talked about Dark Avengers as the next one. The film version they are looking to bring to the big screen will be represented by these anti-heroes, which in the comics was led by Norman Osborne in the Iron Patriot suite, dissolving SHIELD and replacing it with the HAMMER agency.

In the comics, Osborn formed the Dark Avengers with Bullseye, who took the personality of Hawkeye; Moonstone, who became the new Ms. Marvel; Daken, the son of Wolverine, who took the name of his father; Venom became a new Spider-Man; and Noh-Varr, a Kree warrior, who assumed the title of Captain Marvel. As expected, with the exception of Bullseye, which debuted in the Daredevil series, the rest of the characters have not appeared on the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

According to Charles Murphy, a reporter for The Hashtag ShowMarvel already has the first approach to Dark Avengers, telling a story that will coincide with Endgame, where apparently we will see several sacrifices and a world without its main heroes.

If the information is reliable, Kevin Feige (president of Marvel Studios) already convinced Amy Pascal from Sony Pictures to lend them Norman Oborne, a character owned by Sony. It is known that the negotiation was favorable to Marvel because Pascal agreed to remove Osborn from the story Silver and Black, a film that will be part of the Venomverse which will starr Silver Sable and Black Cat, it was going to have as main villains Osborne and Camaleón. According to the rumors, Camaleón was also left out of the project and that opens the door for him to appear in the next Spider-Man movie.

At the moment the project of Silver and Black no longer exists, and Sony prepares two films, one for Silver Sable and another one for Black Cat, that are in the process of being written.
