For the first time, someone has found a 14-foot-long giant squid! This was revealed by a man who carried it to shore to remove it from the water and perhaps keep it.
Through social media, the video of a man who calls himself as The Real Tarzann found a squid in the Mediterranean approximately 14 feet long or 4.2 meters.
Although the man was exceedingly convincing that he found it randomly floating, some comments from users speculated that the specimen in question was simply an inflatable squid. Others assured that the marine animal appeared to be computer generated, since it had a perfect glare and looked too realistic.
Within the comments, skeptics also explained that an average giant squid is 30 feet long (9 meters) and inhabits the depths of the sea, so it would not have been found floating.
Apparently, the giant squid of 14-foot squid was found dead. The footage reveales an immobilized creature with no sign of life, which is why the man is able to hold it by his side without restraint.
