We are in September 2018. There is less and less time for Disney to launch its own streaming platform, destined to compete against Netflix. But the reality is that to date we do not have much information ; and the most recent report, centered on Loki, is strange.
Variety has published an exclusive report in which they state that Disney is preparing a wide range of TV series; which will have several secondary protagonists from the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
Scarlet Witch is the first character named, but perhaps the one that catches the attention is Loki. Who is one of the best Memes amongst social networks.
The project, supposedly, will generate several spin-offs with different characters from the MCU. But the most shocking thing is that Disney is planning to use Elizabeth Olsen and Tom Hiddleston to star in these productions.
The intention is to make it a mini series with a short duration. Composed of just six or eight episodes. But with a substantial budget, almost to the height of a movie.
In other words. It seems that Disney wants to make its own universe of series. Similar to the one Netflix did with Daredevil, Luke Cage and company. But much more epic.
