An amazing viral video, which already has just over 8 million views, discloses the unexpected fierce confrontation between four hungry cougars and a defenseless llama. The surprising footage shared by the “BBC Earth” channel sparked all kinds of comments from people.
The video shows us the terrifying moment in which a llama in Patagonia fights and runs for its life evading fearsome cougars that are hungry and work hard to bring it down, but they were not cunning enough, instead ended up taking a painful lesson and becoming the victims.
The clip begins with a group of llamas eating peacefully on the mountain until one of the cougars stalks them, it pounces on one and tries to subdue it. But the fight has just begun, since the llama continuously escapes the animal’s claws and seriously wounds them with its hooves. Also, a technique can be observed where the llama, with great power, swings its neck up and down avoiding their bite.
From one moment to the next, reinforcement cougars emerge, 3 more to be exact, surprising the llama already in battle. Unfortunately, for the cougars, with their numbers, could not make dinner of this animal. In the end, we see how the llama ends up fleeing and reunites with its herd away from the predators, probably boasting to the rest, about its triumphant victory over the felines.
