In mid-March, the actor who played Tormund Giantsbane in Game of Thrones said that he had caught the new coronavirus.

Through social networks, actor Kristofer Hivju announced that he has recovered after being diagnosed with COVID-19 a couple of weeks ago.

In mid-March, the actor who played Tormund Giantsbane in Game of Thrones said he had tested positive for the new coronavirus. In that post the actor asked his followers to take care of themselves and announced that he would take the appropriate measures to protect his health and that of his wife, Gry Molvær Hivju, who was probably also infected.

And apparently, whatever he did to take care of himself worked because now the actor who is scheduled to be part of the second season of The Witcher used his personal Instagram account to report that they are both in good health. It might have something to do with his Wildling bloodline.
