According to recent known information, Kang the Conqueror is the next villain of the Loki show on Disney +. Good or bad idea?

IThe Loki series with Tom Hiddleston in the title role is expected on Disney+. As in most shows, a big bad guy will stir up trouble somewhere in the universe and provoke the protagonists. It appears as if the God of Malice, will be facing Kang the Conqueror! Except that we will find Loki in a different dilemma than the one we had anticipated, since he was killed by Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War. This alternative version is likely to be put our protagonist through severe tests because Nathaniel Richards aka Kang the Conqueror will probably want to catch him, as is his usual custom.

In collaboration with the TVA (Time Variance Authority), Kang will want to imprison him and has probably succeeded according to the image seen in the teaser. This super-villain is also called “Master of time”, and not for nothing: he can manipulate it better than anyone.

Inserting him into the MCU by way of “Loki” is actually a very good idea, because like Thanos and his Infinity Stones, Kang and the VAT will be able to impact the chronologies of future projects. His intervention could lead to integrate more villains in the MCU such as Galactus and Doctor Doom, in Phase 5. He is a big enemy, who is just as interesting as Thanos in the eyes of the fans.

Having Kang the Conqueror show up as the antagonist in the Loki series is actually very exciting. “I’m going to burn this whole place down,” said Thor’s half-brother in the teaser after being imprisoned. Revenge is something he’s relatively good at.
