There are still several months left for the premiere of ” X-Men: Dark Phoenix ” and, to create expectations, we have in this article images of what will be one of the biggest fights of the film.
Initially, the premiere (in USA) of ” X-Men: Dark Phoenix” was scheduled for November this year, but was postponed until February 14, 2019 with the aim of shooting some reshoots for at least two and a half weeks in Montreal, France.
Now, new images of the shoot have been revealed in which the confrontation between the actresses Jessica Chastain and Sophie Turner can be appreciated.
The film will be based on the plot of the comics ‘The Dark Phoenix’ in which an entity takes control of the body of Jean Gray ( Sophie Turner ). In the adaptation to the big screen, it will be Jessica Chastain who plays the villain whose name is still unknown.
For now, it is only known that she is a mutant with the ability to change shape and manipulate the Phoenix Force at will. This description makes us predict that she is probably a skrull.
In the images, both actresses appear dressed in ‘motion-capture’ suits, so post-production and special effects will be obviously important. While Sophie Turner’s body is suspected being covered in flames, the reason for Chastain’s appearance is still unknown.
