Scientists are considering sending almost 6.7 million sperm samples to the moon as a backup plan to safeguard the human race in case a natural disaster destroys our planet.
That was the proposal suggested by scientists from the University of Arizona because “the Earth is a volatile ecosystem”, as explained by scientist Jekan Thanga. These scholars propose creating a sperm bank that will store millions of species samples in a Moon base. This would be executed as a contingency plan in the event of a global disaster.
There is no doubt that planet earth and its inhabitants are going through a rather complicated situation. Disasters such as global warming, global pandemics, earthquakes, droughts, floods, tsunamis, and tornadoes have reduced part of the human population in recent years. Faced with this dilemma, these group of scientists is preparing for a not very favorable future with a unique proposal.

The samples will be kept in a cryogenic vault on our planet’s natural satellite as a reserve in case human life disappeared here, which would cheer up more than one postmodern environmentalist.
The lunar dome would be sheltered 262 feet below the lunar surface, so that it is protected from space impacts or radiation,
The idea also includes sending embryos of other species, because we all know that life on the Moon wouldn’t last long without our cats and dogs.
However, it is important to note that the samples would be so large the operation will require more than 250 rockets to make this proposal a reality.
The ark, envisioned by Jekan Thanga and a team of researchers from the University of Arizona, would store 6.7 million species of seeds, sperm, eggs and DNA. https://t.co/UfRLxEQWyB
