Stan “The Man” Lee, the legend from Marvel Comics, creator of most of the main heroes, in recent years has increased his fame, even reaching pop celebrity levels due to his famous cameos in films based on Marvel characters, regardless of whether they are produced by Marvel Studios, Fox or Sony.
But now Stan will go a step further, and will reach the DC Universe.
That’s right, everyone attending the premiere of Teen Titans GO! to the Movies, which took place at Comic-Con, confirmed that Stan Lee has a cameo in the film produced by Warner and starring the DC Comics youth heroes. In the description, Stan Lee is mentioned mocking his many cameos, gloating about doing them all of his filmography.
The cameo of Stan Lee was one of the big surprises of the film, because nobody waited for Stan Lee to fulfill his dream of having a cameo in the DC movies. That’s right, just a couple of years ago, during a conference in Toronto, Lee said:
“I want to do more cameos also, I’ve even let people know it doesn’t have to be a Marvel movie, I don’t know why DC hasn’t called me. They could use me!”
Teen Titans GO! to the Movies is the second animated film in which Lee makes a cameo, the first was Marvel’s Big Hero 6, although he had appeared in several animated series from the eighties and nineties.
In spite of this incredible thing, the legend of Stan Lee could still go further, especially if it is confirmed that he has already agreed to do a cameo in the film, Spawn. If Todd McFarlane manages to film that cameo, Stan would have appeared in the film versions from the three major comic book companies: Marvel, DC and Image.
