The rumor was finally confirmed with the promise of a rematch between the two characters.
Hayden Christensen will return to Star Wars productions to play Darth Vader in the Obi-Wan Kenobi series. This return of the actor from the prequels had been predicted by a rumor and was finally confirmed during this Thursday at the Disney conference for its investors.
In that occasion, it was also promised that both characters would have a revenge fight in the series that will be set 10 years after the end of Revenge of the Sith.
The Obi-Wan Kenobi series, simply called Obi-Wan Kenobi and not The High Ground like most us would like, will be led by Deborah Chow (The Mandalorian) and with Ewan McGregor again as the “hello there,” charming Jedi. Production is scheduled to begin in March 2021.
