Black Panther featured Erik Killmonger (Michael B. Jordan), rated one of the best villains in the Marvel Cinematic Universe along with Loki and Thanos. Unfortunately, Marvel Studios made the decision to kill him and, while it became an emotional and shocking scene, it would still have been better to see him alive for the sequel directed by Ryan Coogler.
However, now it seems that T’Challa’s cousin could have a second chance on the big screen.
Angela Bassett recently spoke with Entertainment Tonight about the Marvel Studios movie and claimed that everyone will return in Black Panther 2, including Michael B. Jordan!!
We never actually saw the funeral of Killmonger (Michael B. Jordan) and it is possible that T’Challa and Shuri have been able to find a way to save the villain after removing the spear stuck in his chest, and since it is also rumored that time travel will influence Avengers: Endgame, this may also explain his return, but whatever the case, it does not seem that this character’s story is over.
