Undoubtedly, we have seen a lot from Star Wars in the recent years. Not only did the third trilogy end with “The Rise of Skywalker”, but we also enjoyed the first season of “The Mandalorian. ” The series left the world delighted with the performance of Pedro Pascal as Mando and the appearance of one of the most beloved characters: Baby Yoda.
That is why this fandom has been revitalized in a certain way around the Star Wars saga. An example of that is a youtuber who achieved the dream of many: to create his own lightsaber. We have all dreamed of having one, or pretended using one with some sort of stick in our hands feeling like a Jedi or Sith ready for battle. Well, a man did it. But it is not a simple stick with light, but for the first time a saber was created capable of cutting through objects.
The Hacksmith is the YouTube channel where you can find the entire process of creating this mythical lightsaber, and don’t expect it to have laser technology.
What the inventor achieved looks exactly like a lightsaber, however, it is a blade-shaped metal bar. Thanks to an external power supply, the metal bar is heated to extreme temperatures until it shines bright orange. This allows you to cut through objects or burn them with minimum contact.
It should be noted that the tutorial was done by professionals and should not be tried at home. The day might come when we will all have real sabers and take the high ground. For now we can at least dream.
