After the disappointing final of ‘Game of Thrones’, HBO now seeks to regain fans trust by making a prequel of the series, which will show the history of the Targaryen house. Although not many details have been given about the project, at least we now have a line up of the main characters that will fight for the Throne in ‘House of the Dragon’.

A few days ago it was announced that the series will arrive in the year 2022, so the production will be making important decisions any time now. Recreating the GOT universe is not easy, the team is going to be cautious about who they choose to play the relevant characters of the new series

Knight Edge Media reported that the series already made an official casting call for the new series, which revealed that ‘House of the Dragon’ will include Aegon, Visenra and Rhaenys Targaryen. So it is very likely that we will see the Targaryen house invading Westeros. In the meantime, you can learn more about these characters with the descriptions that the casting team made known:

Aegon Targaryen 20 years old, Caucasian male. He married his two sisters VISENYA and RHAENYS. Retired, calm, pious. Brutal with those who challenge him. Riding the dragon Balerion.

Visenya Targaryen 20 years, Caucasian woman. Older sister and wife of King AEGON TARGARYEN. A voluptuous, severe, serious and impeccable woman. Riding the dragon Vhagar.

Rhaenys Targaryen 20 years old, Caucasian woman. The younger sister of King AEGON TARGARYEN. Friendly, elegant, playful, curious, impulsive, and gives into fantasy, with a mischievous personality. Riding the Meraxes dragon.

Something that GOT fans enjoyed, was seeing the dragons, so it is good to know that these creatures will be showing up from the get-go, we can be sure that they will be unleashing all of their power.

It takes time for the series of this calibre to be made, but at least we already have an idea of what the main characters of ‘House of the Dragon’ will be like, let us hope that this time the production will give us a worthy end.
