The drone is a new tool used to study sharks in that area. It allows less invasive observations, though this video shows some encounters may still occur. For researchers, it’s also safer as they don’t need to be as close to the sharks. Dominik is journaling all his exploration in National Geographic’s Open Explorer platform.
