After the premiere of the first episode, Amazon Prime Video unveils the premiere date of Hanna’s full season. On Friday March 29 we will be able to watch eight episodes that make up the first season. This information is revealed in the premiere of the official trailer of the series.

The story is based on the eponymous film from 2011 by Joe Wright, which revolves around  Hanna (Esme Creed-Miles), a 15 year old teanager who has spent her youth training to fight against those who hunt her and her mercenary father, Erik Heller (Joel Kinnaman).

Her survival skills are finally put to the test when she and her father separate after they are discovered by a CIA agentMarissa Wiegler (Mireille Enos) and her team of agents. She has no choice but to embark on a perilous journey alone across Europe as she seeks to reunite with her father, evade, and finally shoot down, the dangerous agents who attack them.

The first season consists of eight episodes and is written by David Farr(The Night Manager), who co-wrote the original film, and who this time has the opportunity to develop the story further by presenting us with new plots.

The cast includes:  Joanna Kulig (Cold War), Rhianne Barreto(Share), Stefan Rudolf (Die Chefin), Peter Ferdinando (Ghost in the Shell), Katharina Heyer (Volt), Benno Fürmann (Speed ​​Racer), Felicien Juttner (Cezanne et Moi), Gamba Cole (Guerrilla), Justin Salinger (Enduring Love), Khalid Abdalla (The Kite Runner), Yasmin Monet Prince (Dark Heart) and Noah Taylor (Chiaroscuro).

Sarah Adina Smith (Episodes 1-2), Jon Jones (Episodes 3-4), Amy Neil(Episodes 5-6) and Anders Engstrom (Episodes 7-8) were in charge of directing this series that was filmed in different countries of the world including Germany, Hungary, Slovakia, Morocco, Spain and the United Kingdom.
