Christian Bale and Matt Damon will be part of the upcoming James Mangold (Logan) movie, a drama centered on the world of motorsport titled Ford v. Ferrari.
Based on the goal set by Ford with the objective to build a car that defeats Ferrari in the Le Mans, the traditional endurance race that runs for 24 hours, its story will focus on Carroll Shelby (Damon), leader of a team of American engineers and designers, and their British driver, Ken Miles (Bale).
Both will be the focus of the battle to defeat Ferrari’s hegemony, face the pressure of Henry Ford II, who also had other pilots competing for the same goal, and his own personal problems, particularly because Shelby will have to deal with the impulsive attitude of Miles.
