Thank you internet for this wonderful and weird moment. A fisherman released images of a fish that dominated social networks with its unusual attributes: a pair of human looking sensual lips and teeth that are weird, and yet we can’t keep our eyes off of them.
The fish in question was identified as a balistidae, also popularly called fishfish or triggerfish. In total there are about 40 species of triggerfish around the world, and as the name implies, they can be a bit aggressive. Their intense teeth have the strength to crush crabs and sea urchins and can even cut through a diving suit. Although of course, if you stay away from the ocean, you will never be in danger.
Balistidae are not the only sea creatures with these creepy characteristics.
