The film, which will be a kind of restart and spin off of the popular saga, is called “Spiral: From The Book Of Saw” and stars Chris Rock.
A few months ago, fans of the “Saw” franchise were surprised to learn that it was being restarted by Chris Rock, but since then excitmeant and thrills have been accumulating.
Now, through reddit , the first trailer of this new version has been leaked ahead of schedule. As recently reported, the official title of the film is in fact “Spiral: From The Book Of Saw”, and this version of the story has a nature very similar to the classic suspense and mystery from David Fincher, “Se7en”.
As you can see in the preview below, Chris Rock has worked to modify the bitter tone of James Wan’s original “Saw” movies, adding some more ironic humorous moments.
“Spiral: From the Book of Saw” is written and stars Chris Rock, Samuel L. Jackson, and Max Minghella, and premieres on Friday, May 15 in theaters.
