Reporter films from the second story home of his friends house in Hawaii. The lava has not touched his building yet but it was getting there soon after this video. He says his friend had lived there for a couple of years on and off. He comments “I’m not trapped though you guys. I just got to drive out on the road behind Mesa we’re still here, may as well see it touch the building. It just looks so incredible out here, just beautiful.”
This type of disaster is extremely slow. Many people have been evacuated because you just can’t simply predict how much damage this is going to cause.
