Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald is the second movie of five new movies joining the Harry Potter universe. This trailer provides us with exciting new Easter Eggs and hidden details only Harry Potter fans would understand and know about.

Ministry of Magic enforcers are seen apparating  into Hogwarts. It is a known rule that apparation is not allowed in Hogwarts during the Harry Potter films. Pottermore even goes so far as to say that the castle and grounds are protected with anti-Apparation charms. Maybe this film offers a reason why the rule was made.

Dumbledore’s favorite trinket, the deluminator, makes a callback from its use in the Sorcerer’s Stone.

Dumbledore’s is seen in what is later known as the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom but we know he is the Transfiguration professor at this time. Curious?

Thestrals aka the creepy skeleton Pegasus(i) are seen with their carriages. They were last seen in Order of the Phoenix. It is curious to note that Thestrals are only visible to those who have witnessed death.

The symbol for the Deathly Hallows appears. Could the elder wand, the cloak of invisibility, or the resurrection stone make an appearance in this film?

A possible relative of Bellatrix Lestrange is making their first appearance in this film. Leta Lestrange is the fiancé of Newt’s older brother, Theseus. The Case of Beasts expands on Leta and Newt’s relationship. Rowling herself stated that Leta was the cause of Newt getting expelled from Hogwarts. In the first film, Queenie questions Newt about a photo of Leta he kept in his suitcase to which he responds that she was a “taker” in their relationship. Maybe this is a hint to her being just as destructive as her pure-blooded descendent. Can’t wait to see what other surprises come form Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.
