A different ending to the classic Titanic 1997 movie went viral on Twitter and was badly disapproved by fans. The deleted scene is part of the extra content on a version of the film released in 2005. The information is from Revista Quem.

Originally, Rose (Gloria Stuart), storyteller, appears onboard a boat looking for a necklace with a rare diamond. In the final moments of the film, the protagonist reveals that she was wearing the jewel all along and hurls it into the sea to rest with her lover, Jack (Leonardo di Caprio).

In the alternative scene, Rose reveals the necklace and hands it to the treasure hunter. He looks into the protagonist’s eyes and changes his mind about keeping the object, he doesn’t see the same value. Moved by Rose’s love story, he lets her toss the jewel into the ocean.

Fans didn’t like the deleted version at all. “I wish I never saw that,” wrote an internet user. Another viewer added: “This is so bad, it looks like a parody.”
