While filming of the new Matrix 4 has just started, it is already causing tension. An explosion coming from the set has caused thousands of dollars in damage in San Francisco, worrying inhabitants of the city.

The new Matrix 4 promises to be rich in twists and turns! The new opus of the saga, produced by the Wachowski brothers, which began in 1999 an went on to 2003, should delight fans. This is in any case what the young Morpheus interpreter teases for Matrix 4, when he announced that there would be impressive combat scenes.

The leaked video from the set in San Francisco, is literally explosive! It was recently posted on the Twitter account of Alberto Tretti. The scene, filmed in the streets shows pyro effects of all kinds and helicopters in action. A veritable guerilla filmed right in the heart of the city!

For Matrix 4, Warner Bros. seems to have bet heavily on the post-apocalyptic atmosphere in order to please fans. An undertaking that will probably yield great revenue but at the same time create tension amongst the residents of the city.

Usually, it is rare to see an action film shot elsewhere other than inside a movie studio with a green background. The director favored real sets, a calculated risk which has recently created a lot of noise around the city

According to an NBC Bay Area report, one of the scenes filmed in the streets of San Francisco has caused significant equipment damage. Destruction amounting to $ 2,000 dollars. This, heat-related explosion melted the plastic cover of a billboard and some street lights. Encar Orozco, an employee at the urban advertising JCDecaux confided: “We just saw the plastic that was all melted, so we didn’t know what was going on. We called our manager and we found out that it was some explosion for the movie.”

The locals can be reassured that this ordeal will be short lived. Filming in San Francisco will end next Sunday evening. Watch the explosion video below along with others that we’re also leaked.
