Ever since the main story of JK Rowling’s Wizarding World came to an end in theaters, people wondered if the creator or the studio would care to develop more films of this fictional world.
Fans’ wishes have come true since recently, Warner Bros. announced that it had partnered with the writer to produce a series focusing on the adventures of Newt Scamander, the writer of the book “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.”
Although the first two installments of that narrative have been profitable, they have failed to mimic the success of the original series, not to mention that fans have had many issues with the plot.
That is why in recent months various rumors have been released about a new production of the main character.
According to several media reports, the executives of Warner Bros, are in talks with Emma Watson for a spin-off focused on Hermione and hope to bring her back as the protagonist of the project.
However, it seems that Watson is not exactly thrilled about the idea of participating in the project, which makes sense considering that the actress is taking a break from acting to focus on her personal life, especially her love relationship.
The studio is also considering changing the role of the British actress if they can’t get her to sign on to the project, although that will obviously create resentment from the Harry Potter fans.
