Black Adam is the nemesis of Shazam!, the last superhero from the DC World that has reached the big screen.
Although we already knew that the character was going to be played by Dwayne Johnson, there was no confirmation of how the villain would join the DC universe.
And the actor, taking advantage of the good figures earned by the film starring Zachary Levi, has announced that the filming for the Shazam villain movie will begin “in a year from now”.
In a video posted on his Instagram account with which Johnson celebrates the success of the Shazam movie, the ‘Rock’ has confirmed the filming date for the movie that he will star in. Thus, DC will continue with the path that is beginning to reap success, far from the path marked by Zack Snyder.
“We should start shooting in a year or so,” says the actor in the four-minute video. He also mentioned that he will kick Shazam’s and all of his family’s ass. Thus, Black Adam will join the DC World with an individual movie that will tell the story of the villain’s origin.
