The complexity of the cave system justifies its reputation as perhaps the world’s greatest cave. As the team set off to explore … there was a torrential downpour … that raised the water level inside the cave. This increased the difficulty of navigating the cave floor. Despite the dangers, the team was able to discover new passages … and live to tell the tale.
