The adorable little 50-year-old baby we met in ‘The Mandalorian’ has competition once again. Compared to another Star Wars character, Baby Jabba, he outdoes him with his charm. Now we have Baby Sonic and the comparisons do not stop, will Baby Yoda get knocked out of the crib?
As many will know ‘Sonic the Hedgehog’ was scheduled to hit theaters in November of this year, but fans hated the character’s design, so director Jeff Fowler had to reunite the digital team to give Sonic an adequate look. The edited trailer was released and fans loved it, it was more comparable to the original and if everything goes as planned, on Valentine’s Day next year it will be released to the cinemas.
This baby version of the character can be seen thanks to the exclusive Japanese released trailer, where you can see Baby Sonic for a few seconds. This scene will undoubtedly be included in the final cut of the film for a couple of minutes, to give a backstory to the main character.
Baby Sonic has an enormous advantage because merchandise from the baby version will be distributed before the film hits theaters, something that Disney put aside to keep the audience from spoilers, a surprise that has cost the company a few dollars.
