The Russo brothers’ film, released almost a year ago, still clearly has a lot of unused material to reveal, certainly to the enjoyment of fans.
Among the many scenes which were not used for the final edit of Avengers: Endgame, is in particular the moment of Black Widow’s death, which was the topic of a long alternative scene. Those who have seen the film remember the fight between Natasha and Clint Barton ( Hawkeye ) to sacrifice themselves in order to recover the Stone of the Soul. In the alternative version, the two heroes actually face Thano’s forces from Sakaar, and Natasha decides to sacrifice herself when the Mad Titan arrives in the background.
The Russos had declared that they wanted to put more emotion in this scene, hence their decision to have kept an additional personal approach to the characters, leaving only Clint and Natasha and an extremely dreadful voluntary sacrifice, not forced by events like the one we are presented with today. It’s up to you to tell us which version you most like on our social accounts.

I feel like this adds more plot to thanos, man figures out about the soul stone, come on, should've kept it in the movie.

Black Widows sacrifice was much more emotional and impactful in the original version

tbh neither deaths are very good. the original was better because it was more of a sacrifice but clint and natasha’s little fight was just goofy tbh. and this one just feels like an unnecessary battle scene with no emotional weight

@Ajaychaitram come on man this is infinitely better than the bland one we got. This is why I hate the MCU they don’t know what they’re doing

yeah how would Clint get away from him afterwards? Thanos would take it from Clint
