Last week, the universe was hamstrung with the news of a mysterious monolith that had appeared in the Utah desert and nobody knew where it came from. Now, another of these artifacts has turned up on Bâtca Doamnei Hill in Romania, and of course. authorities are already investigating it. Is this an elaborate marketing plan or is it the work of aliens? Or perhaps an elaborate marketing plan from aliens announcing their arrival?
Recall that on November 18, a helicopter found a monolith almost 10 feet high in Utah. Nobody knows where it came from, but it was speculated that it could have been the work of an artist or a copycat, so they downplayed the event.
But to everyone’s surprise, the Utah Bureau of Land Management reported that the monolith was removed “by an unknown source.” It disappeared, the only thing that remained was the triangular upper part and some well-arranged rocks. Someone, please find out where it went.
After the mystery that the monolith from Utah left us, we now travel to the other side of the world, where on November 26, a figure similar to the one from the United States was found. It appeared on the “Holy Mountain”, near the Petrodava Dacian fortress, a renowned archaeological site.
The big issue is, the government cannot investigate the artifact because it is within private property and a protected area. However, the authorities are keeping an eye on the embodiment of this strange figure until a permit is granted from the Ministry of Culture.
While it seems like a close encounter of the third kind, it could simply be a good joke from someone with plenty of free time and a good sense of humor. But unlike the monolith in Utah, this Romanian version has a series of abstract lines on its surface. Do they mean something? Will it be the end of everything? Stop it 2020!
