It has been more than a week after the controversy that arose with the case of Amber Heard and Johnny Depp. The actor accused his ex-wife of being physically and verbally confrontational.
To corroborate this accusation, Depp submitted audios where the actress is heard acknowledging the aggressions committed against the famous actor.
This problem originated in 2016, when the couple ended their relationship after a year of marriage. The legal battle and accusations we’re initiated by Heard, which prompted Disney to dismiss Depp from the saga of Pirates of the Caribbean.
This changed after the audios were leaked by Johnny Depp, which caused fans of the actor and audience that felt cheated by Amber to create a petition on the Changer.org page requesting the dismissal of the actress from Aquaman 2.
The petition has gone from having 5,000 signatures to more than 300,000, which should pressure Warner Bros to take away the role of Princess Mera from Amber.
The mere presence of the actress in the film starring Jason Momoa, could jeopardize the box office, something that does not suit Warner, who wants to follow the success left by the first installment.
