Ironically, a report has been released detailing that Mera’s interpreter will appear alongside Margot Robbie in the film reboot of Pirates of the Caribbean, a film saga that for years starred her ex-husband, Johnny Depp.
In addition to the trial against the London newspaper The Sun, Johnny Depp and Amber Heard will face each other once again in a United States court, as the actor still holds a lawsuit against his ex-wife for defamation, which he’s counting on will help clean up his reputation in Hollywood.

According to Hollywood Insider and Influencer Daniel Richtman, Amber Heard is in talks with Disney to work on the Pirates of the Caribbean reboot, opposite Margot Robbie. The two actresses are part of the DC Extended Univers, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn and Amber Heard as Mera, so they already know each other.
So far little is known about the plot of this new installment of ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ as well as the role of Margot Robbie, but it has been something that has caused an uproar due to the departure of Depp. The addition of Amber Heard to the cast would drive a stake through many fans’ hearts and probably deter many from watching it.
