Italian diver Bartolomeo Bove surprised thousands after jeopardizing his life while swimming with dozens of these dangerous reptiles.

On YouTube and other social networks, the dangerous endeavor of Bartolomeo Bove, a diver who dived into a reef infested with dangerous crocodiles, has gone viral to record them from up close. Thousands of users were stunned after learning about the young man’s daring adventure.

The crocodiles are considered as one of the most dangerous species, it is recommended to maintain a prudent distance whenever someone is close to their habitat. However, this man decided not to follow those rules and met these animals head-on.

Bove published a clip of his feat on his YouTube and Instagram account, where he also detailed that the entire event was recorded in the waters of Banco Chinchorro, located off the coast of the state of Quintana Roo, Mexico. He also explained that more than 500 crocodiles live in that place, which reside exactly in the lagoon of the central island of the atoll and sometimes swim in the open sea.

In the video you can see Bartolomeo Bove getting extremely close to one of these reptiles. He immediately brings the camera closer to its muzzle and begins to record it at a close angle. He managed to capture its teeth and the inside of its mouth.

After noticing that the animal was leaving the place, he decided to follow it, while at the same time capturing all its movements from a few inches away. The young man continued recording the crocodile in all its splendor and it, surprisingly, did not attack him.
