There is no defense against the technique of Mr. Miyagi. A pupil was saved from a tremendous dog bite by using movements that he surely learned while watching the Karate Kid. The scene was recorded on a security camera, where you can see what appears to be a delivery man walking by a house when suddenly, a dog goes after him with the intention of biting him, an attack that is rescinded with the same movements that Mr. Miyagi taught Daniel Larusso in the movie.

In the video, you can see how not once, not twice, but 3 times, the dog tries to attack the man, who seizes everything he learned from watching the Cobra Kai marathon to stop the animal. At this point, a second dog appears to come after the now, not so defenseless pedestrian, being likewise dismissed by the movements learned in the dojo.

When the dogs suspect that the martial artist is going to throw the illegal kick called “the crane”, they withdraw and although it is seen that they were left with the desire to bite him, they could do nothing against such an elegant technique.

In the end, the animals are discouraged when the karate fighter pretends to be a huge bear and stands up with his hind limbs pretending to be 9 feet tall.
