If you thought that you had already seen everything in the world of video consoles, get ready for a surprise, the handheld Wiiboy is now here.
Just a few days ago, a video was uploaded on a YouTube channel called GingeOfMods where we can see the metamorphosis from a simple Game Boy to this magnificent creation. In just five and a half minutes they explain how this incredible feat was carried out.
And, believe it or not, the result is spectacular. The portable console works perfectly. In fact, the creator of the Wiiboy tests his invention by playing Super Mario Galaxy, Wii Sports, and The Legend Of Zelda.
The case of this Wiiboy is slightly larger than that of the Game Boy Color. However, the portable console is luxurious, with a large screen, comfortable buttons, good resolution, can be connected to the television and it even has a USB port.
The creator of this gem explains in the video that his Wiiboy is a mix of several portable consoles. The buttons were taken from a Nintendo DS Lite, the circuitry was obtained from a Game Cube controller and the joysticks are from a Nintendo Switch, while the screen was procured from one of the rear cameras of a car.
It seems like a simple concept and something we have all wanted in our grasp. Now it is only a matter of time before Nintendo either shuts this down quickly or actually blesses an entire generation with this device.
