A loud consistent roar in the sky frightened the locals, who were unable to sleep fearing the apocalypse.
In social networks, the videos in which a loud sound is heard without apparent explanation in the Antioquia area during the night this Monday went viral.
The testimonies and videos on social networks give account of what sounds like a roar similar to the engine of an airplane, but was constant for several minutes.
However, some users believe that the phenomenon is common and is attributed to the increase of storms in the area.
Some people believed that the noises in Medellín meant that the apocalypse was near. Others called it the Cielo-moto, and say that because of quarantine, the normal auditory frequencies have been reduced, thus, this phenomenon is now louder.
