To discuss the different rumors and theories about the film, incidentally showing Ezra Miller’s new suit in ‘The Flash’ movie, DC FanDome presented the panel with director Andy Muschietti, producer Barbara Muschietti, screenwriter Christina Hodson and actor Ezra Miller.
At first, the director expressed where the inspiration and the pleasure he had to be part of the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) came from in addition to the references that Muschietti put in ‘IT’.
Fans were eager to see Ezra Miller’s version of the character this weekend, and now they have a glimpse of what he will look like in the movie and a bit about the plot of the movie.
Prior to the event, the film generated great expectations since it announced the return of Ben Affleck as Batman in the film, as well as Michael Keaton in this new DCEU production.
After talking about the multiverse, which suggests the justification for the plot of the film and the rationale of the various versions of Batman, the concept art of Ezra Miller’s new suit can be seen in the photo that was released for ‘The Flash’.
In addition to an image showing the speedster alongside Batman, the suit is very similar to the one Michael Keaton wore in the ‘Batman’ and ‘Batman Returns’ movies.
The director foresaw that the film talks about the human side of Batman and how Ben Affleck’s version of the character interpreted it, which is perhaps the reason why he insisted that the actor return.
At the end of the panel, Ezra Miller spoke of one of his proposals being that Flash meets Nicolas Cage’s version of Superman. What?
