We learn new details about The Batman everyday, such as that the film will be much darker than other DC films according to its director Andy Serkis, as well as the possible more detailed plot of The Batman.
However, we have not seen many images from the movie. We have only seen Robert Pattinson with the Bat suit in that brief first teaser trailer for The Batman. You know, the one with the dark red light that doesn’t really let us see much.
Artist Leonardo Menegon has envisioned what the actor would look like in the Dark Knight outfit in broad daylight.
In addition to Robert Pattinson in the role of Bruce Wayne / Batman, the cast to date is comprised of Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Paul Dano as Enigma, Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner Gordon, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, John Tuturro as Carmine Falcone and Colin Farrel as the Penguin, Peter Sarsgaad as District Attorney Gil Colson (and who is speculated to become Two-Face), Jayme Lawson as Bella Real, Gotham City mayor candidate, and Gil Perez-Abraham, whose role is unknown at the moment.
Initially scheduled for June 25, 2021, Warner has decided to change its release date and now The Batman will hit theaters on October 1, 2021 .
